2012-01-31 - Charlie and GrayC Need a Home (Bastrop)
I've tried before but I'll try again! I have socialized two feral kittens that showed up at my house last Sept. They were starving and wild so I fed them and eventually I was able to pet them. They now sit on my lap and purr. Problem is I thought I would be able to find a home for them a long time ago, but no one seems to want a cute kitty!
I don't want to take them to the shelter because I don't want them euthanized. I cannot afford to spay or neuter them. I can't even afford low cost spay/neuter! I am moving from my lease in a couple of months and cannot take them with me, nor can I leave them to just starve. I'm in a fix and hope someone wants either a black or a gray teenage cat. A small donation to the animal shelter would be great so I know you are serious. Seriously, they are both so sweet. I have yet to hear either of them meow.
They are happy outside as long as they have dry shelter that is out of the wind and rain and either one of them would BE OVERJOYED to become a house cat. They have both come in the house to explore, and have used the kitty pan. The gray one has used the scratching log that I have for my first and original kitty. So, yes, they are house cat material!
Thanks so much and hope someone can help. Or maybe whoever reads this knows of someone looking for a good and well behaved kitty.
(The pictures aren't great, I'll try to get some better ones. Charlie is the black one, GrayC is the gray female one. They both have medium long hair. The black one has a faint white "ruff" around his neck and faint white underneath his tail.

I can't express how great this dog really is. He is NOT hyper. HE LOVES KIDS. He does NOT jump up on you. He loves to go for walks. GREAT on a leash. Doesn't bark a lot. He is very well behaved and loves to just sit with you and be petted. He knows how to sit, shake and fetch. He needs a home that will give him a lot of attention. He's great with small dogs. He's always been an outside dog. He is a very loving and GENTLE dog. My 2 year old can lay all over him..pull his ears..whatever and Tex just lays there. Due to the military we are moving soon. We can't take our WONDERFUL dog, Tex with us. He is a little over a year old. Neutered, current on all shots, and microchipped. I can't express how great this dog really is. He is NOT hyper. HE LOVES KIDS. He does NOT jump up on you. He loves to go for walks. GREAT on a leash. Doesn't bark a lot. He is very well behaved and loves to just sit with you and be petted. He knows how to sit, shake and fetch. He needs a home that will give him a lot of attention. He's great with small dogs. He's always been an outside dog. He is a very loving and GENTLE dog. My 2 year old can lay all over him..pull his ears..whatever and Tex just lays there. He really is the PERFECT dog that's why I want to make sure he will go to a great home. No rehoming fee for the right person. Must have a yard. Thanks.

I have two dogs that I've taking in that were strays and got the socialized with the other three dogs they stay around my house with no fences the white one is part St Bernard (it shows in the face) and the black one loves to play fetch, would like someone with a big yard, and older kids to take them. Ether one or both. The white one has his rabies shot and tag.
